This snowmobile safari goes through the beautiful forests and over the ice-covered lakes to eventually meet our local friends, the reindeer. You will have a reindeer ride of 1,5 kilometers and have the chance to feed them. You will also learn about the reindeer and the arctic nature. The driving distance with the snowmobile is about 35- 40 kilometers. Coffee, a pastry and a sausage are included. You must be at least 140 cm to participate in this program.

What to bring

  • Remember to wear mid layer according to weather.
  • Take own warm hat with you if you wish to take helmet off when we stop for a break.

Special requirements

Adult on shared snowmobile = Two persons sitting on the snowmobile. Another is a driver, another is a passenger. You can swop driver on the way. There needs to be two persons in your party when you choose this rate. Then you won´t share snowmobile with a stranger.

Disclaimers

  • Self liability in case of accident is 1000€ / vehicle.
  • Driving licence is required for driving a snowmobile
  • Snowmobile driving distance is 40 km
  • Children need to sit behind their guardian on the snowmobile. Minimum length 140 cm when sitting on snowmobile (feet need to reach firmly until side board)

Cancellations
  • A €50 administrative fee applies to all customer cancellations.
  • Weekly programs: cancellations made at least 21 days before the program are refunded, less the administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made 20 days or less before the program are non-refundable.
  • Groups of 8–16 people: cancellations made 30 days or less before the program are non-refundable.
  • Groups of 17 or more: cancellations made 59 days or less before the program are non-refundable.
  • Ruka Safaris may cancel a weekly departure if the minimum of four participants is not reached. In this case, all payments will be refunded within 14 days.
