Want to get involved in the diverse world of programme services? We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to take care of the smooth running of our client transport services during the winter season 2024-2025.
The safari and programme services package is made up of several components, of which transport services are an important part.
As the Operational Coordinator for Ruka Safaris Transport, you will be responsible for all aspects of the transport services, ensuring smooth and efficient transport services for our clients. This role includes coordinating airport transfers, safari and day trip transfers, while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, schedule and coordinate transportation reservations in collaboration with the sales department and transportation companies, and ensure transportation reservations are made
Monitor transport schedules in the booking system and communicate any changes and updates to customers and partners.
Resolve potential problems quickly and efficiently
Communicate and inform the various departments (sales, catering, partners, reception, guides) that need information on the transfers at any given time
Ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency
YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS TASK:
Experience in the tourism industry
Finnish and English language skills, other language skills would be an advantage. Our daily working language is English.
At least a B-driver’s license
Good IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems (Travius, Excel, e-mail).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and in busy seasonal environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to deliver high quality service and customer experience
Flexibility in working hours (including evening and weekend shifts)

HOURS OF WORK:
Full-time. Salary according to contract.
Fixed-term contract, from 11.11.2024 to 31.3.2025.
