Project Description

A total of 12 modern Lumo Villas are being built in Iisakki Village, designed to blend seamlessly into the area’s historic village setting on the shores of Lake Rukajärvi. The new villas will expand the accommodation capacity and strengthen Iisakki Village’s appeal as a year-round destination.

The project aims to combine high-quality modern accommodation with an authentic northern nature experience, while respecting the traditions and landscape of the area.

Project Progress

The project has progressed according to plan in phases. The first five Lumo Villas were completed and taken into use during the winter season 2025–2026.

Customer feedback has been excellent. Guests have particularly appreciated how the modern villas, located in a historic village environment, combine the tranquility of nature with a high-quality, carefully designed accommodation experience.

Construction continues with the remaining villas, and the full project is scheduled for completion in early 2027.

Impact

The Lumo Villas project strengthens Iisakki Village’s position as one of the most attractive accommodation destinations in the Ruka area. The investment supports the growth of tourism, extends seasonal demand, and increases the availability of high-quality accommodation for both international and domestic visitors.
