Private restaurant Ukonkivi is built with very special Kelo logs in a traditional Finnish style which offers an intimate place for the most important moments of your life. Whether needing a location for business or fun, Ukonkivi is the perfect place to organize family gatherings, dinners as well as business meetings and corporate training events. From the window you can see the beautiful northern scenery changing with the four seasons, enchanting you again and again with its diversity.

The dining hall of Ukonkivi seats approximately 80 people and offers an amazing setting for all kinds of parties. A traditional stone fireplace decorated with candles creates a warm atmosphere and on the terrace you can rest your eyes from the stunning lake view. We are very proud of our old wooden fishing boat that serves today as a unique buffet table for our guests.

We treasure the food traditions of past generations by combining them with modern cuisine and our original recipes. Using only the fresh and pure northern ingredients our chefs prepare the delicious food from start to finish. Our refined wine list consists of carefully selected wines which complement your dinner making it a truly delightful experience. We prepare delicious meals for your celebration, from small snacks to ala carte dinners. We offer also catering services – if you wish so, we will deliver food directly to your cottage or accommodation so that you can enjoy the special day without stress.

Oivangin Lomakartano’s atmospheric sled cottages and modern villas can accommodate even larger groups. There is accommodation for a total of 66 people. After a good night’s sleep, a delicious breakfast awaits you in our restaurant.
