We are looking for waiters for our restaurants in Kontioluola and Ukonkivi for the winter season 2025-2026.
Kontioluola serves the accommodation and safari guests of Iisakki Village in Ruka with lunch and dinner buffets. Ukonkivi serves customers at the Oivangi holiday farm (between Ruka and Kuusamo). Working days are varied and diverse due to the different nationalities and customer groups.
As a waiter, you take care of our customers so they can enjoy good service, food and drink.
You have the ability to work independently, but also to work well in an international environment and as part of an international team.
The duties of a waiter include:
- Customer service and beverage sales
- Ensuring the smooth running of the food and drink service
- Close cooperation with kitchen staff
- Maintaining the comfort and cleanliness of the hall
We expect from the applicant:
- Knowledge of the restaurant industry and experience in similar roles
- Excellent service and flexibility
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English; other languages would be an advantage
- Basic IT skills (use of reservation system and cash register/payment terminal)
- Driving licence, own car considered an advantage
WORKTIME:
The job is a two-shift job.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The employment relationship is fixed-term, for the period 10.11.2025 – 29.3.2026. Salary according to agreement.
